Companies registered in Beijing must confirm with the lessor or property owner whether the address allows the company to be registered and used before applying for establishment registration or address change registration. It is illegal to change the use of a property without authorization because the property ownership certificate clearly states its intended use.
At present, Beijing adopts address commitment declaration to apply for and register a residence, without mandatory inspection of the registered address of the company. It requires the use of a real, legal, and safe fixed place for non-residential planning purposes as the residence, and is responsible for the authenticity, legality, and safety of the residence. Can I use my own home address? As mentioned earlier, the answer is negative. When applying for registration, it is necessary to provide address proof documents, which shall be provided by the property owner, including but not limited to a copy of the property certificate signed or stamped by the property owner. The proof of address document should be consistent with the content recorded by the property owner with the registration authority, and the property owner should upload the registration information to the registration authority.
