Implementation of Phase 2 of New Inspection Regime – Revised Approach for Rectification of Information
Further to our Newsletter in September 2022, Phase 2 of the New Inspection Regime come into effect on 24 October 2022. Starting from the commencement date of it, Companies Registry will only accept the new administrative form, “Form AD – Rectification of Typographical or Clerical Error in Registered Document” to rectify a typographical or clerical error contained in a document already registered which replacing the traditional approach by delivering the amended documents.
Submission of Form AD will only be accepted in paper initially. Electronic submission service for amended documents at the e-Registry will be suspended from 24 October 2022 until further notice. Please note that each From AD can only apply for rectification of incorrect information contained in one registered document only.
